Mattress pickup requires almost nothing from you, which is the point. The almost is this checklist, five minutes that make the window flawless.
1. Be honest about condition at booking
The routing depends on it. Clean and undamaged means your Loader arrives ready for the donation offer. Stains, damage, or any infestation history means the recycling or disposal route, and disclosing it up front, especially bed bug history, lets the Loader arrive with the right containment. Nothing about the price changes with honesty; only the preparation does.
2. Strip the bed
Sheets, mattress protector, pillows off. Bedding stays with you or goes to textile recycling and animal shelters, never with the mattress.
3. Decide the add ons now
The box spring rides along for $15. The frame, the headboard, the dresser that has been on borrowed time, every added item is discounted on the same trip, and a full set booking is the best math. Adding items at booking beats renegotiating at the door, which our model does not do anyway, the price is locked.
4. Clear the path
A mattress needs a person’s width of hallway plus turning room at corners. Move the laundry basket, the shoe pile, and the hallway table. Your Loader handles doorway angles and the carry itself.
5. Handle building logistics
Apartment or condo: reserve the freight elevator if one exists, warn the front desk, and put gate codes in the booking notes. Apartment specifics live here.
6. Then do nothing
Text updates confirm the window and arrival. The Loader removes the mattress from inside the home, and the tracker shows the rest. That is the whole checklist, book the window and check the boxes tonight.
