The Love & Sleep mattress is pretty basic compared to its high-tech competitors. It is offered in two firmness levels: a medium, and a firm. The medium firmness version is 11 inches thick and is made up of a 6-inch layer of support foam and 2 other layers of comfort foam on top.

The top layer is made of Energex Cooling Comfort foam, which is a little more bouncy than memory foam but not as bouncy as latex. This material is also designed to help you sleep cooler while avoiding that feeling of being stuck in the bed you get with many other foam mattresses.

The middle layer of the mattress consists of a SmartFlow Air Flow foam that promotes airflow to keep you cool while you sleep.

The firm version is also 11 inches tall but uses fewer layers of foam. The top layer is made of 2 inches of the Energex Cooling Comfort Foam. The airflow foam layer is omitted, making the base layer 8 inches of support foam, providing more body support and less “squish.”

It really comes down to personal preference when deciding which firmness level is best for you. Both are very well-constructed, and a great value for the price.

Love & Sleep Cover

The Love & Sleep mattress cover is woven from a super soft, cooling Thermic Phase Change Cooling Fabric. This material works in tandem with the comfort foam layers to keep you cool and dry as you sleep, especially on warmer nights when it can be hard to stay cool.

The cover is also made without any flame-retardant chemicals, making it safer to sleep on. The fabric for the cover is woven with inert silica, which is a naturally occurring element often found in toothpaste. Other mattress brands include flame-retardant chemicals that have been shown to cause cancer and other serious diseases.

Nest Bedding offers a 100-night trial on all of their mattresses. If you don’t like the one you purchased, after trying it for 30 nights, you can trade it in for a different model or return it completely and receive a full refund.

You can return any mattress before the 30-day trial period is up, but will likely have to pay a restocking fee in order to do so.

All of Nest Bedding’s mattresses come with a Lifetime Warranty for any defects that may appear during the life of your mattress. Most other mattresses only come with a 2-year warranty, so a Lifetime warranty makes this mattress even more of a great value.
