Reviews are the whole game in home services, so here is exactly where ours live and how to read them like a skeptic.
The verified layer
The review count on our site, more than 300,000 five star reviews at a 4.8 composite, comes from verified post-job surveys across the LoadUp network, surfaced through our trust system. Verified means the reviewer actually booked and completed a pickup, which filters out both fake praise and drive-by complaints from people who were never customers.
Third party channels
You will also find Mattress Disposal Plus and the LoadUp network reviewed on independent platforms including Reviews.io, Google, and Yelp. Third party channels matter because we cannot edit them. Volume and recency matter more than any single review: a service doing thousands of jobs a month will have some rough days on record, and the honest question is what percentage of days are rough and how the company responds.
How to read reviews like a pro
Sort by recent first, since a 2019 review describes a company that may no longer exist operationally. Read the three star reviews, which tend to be the most honest. Watch for patterns rather than incidents: one late arrival is logistics, fifty late arrivals is a business model. And check whether pricing complaints exist, because the most common junk removal complaint in the industry is a quote that grew at the door.
